Badgley Mishka RTW Spring 2003 is a really nice collection. The long dresses are perfect for red-carpet. The shorter ones are also really pretty though. You can see the whole thing on Vogue.com under fashion shows.

This Valentino couture cllection is apparently loosely based on Chinese mythology. I liked it a lot, especially when you look at the detail shots: the girls' hair is really cool. Have a look.

Apparently, in the not-yet-released ad for the men's Yves Saint Laurent fragrance M7, there is a shot of model Samuel de Cubber completely naked. Of course, this has caused a stir with the media who've seen it before its release. However, this is probably what Tom Ford, YSL's artistic director, wanted in the first place.

VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards

The mighty VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards took place, I'm not sure when, probably yesterday or the day before, I didn't have too much time too look into it. Point is, Tom Ford for YSL won Designer of the Year. And Karolina Kurkova won Model of the Year. Check out Debra Messing's first dress (you'll see it in the slideshow at the link). Pretty interesting....

I read this article on Gisele and Travis Fimmel. I can't say it's deep or insightful but I always like reading things about the lives of models. Just a thing I have. But even if you don't have a "thing" about this, you should still read it. It kind of gives you a different look at Gisele, because the article is mostly about her, not so much the CK boy. And if you don't know who Travis Fimmel is, you definitly need to watch more TV or read more magazines.

According to ananova.com Burberry did very well in its first half. (H1) Sales are up with the company, famous for its beige plaid patterns and very english look.

I read an article on globeandmail.ca about Survivor and it's so true. A lot of people don't even know that Survivor is on again. but, as the author said in the article, it's just the same stuff they were showing us the last three time: "yuppies, beach bunnies and a few spry geezers in ratty clothes, milling about on a beach, starving themselves, trying to pretend the camera isn't there." To me that's a perfect description. Survivor in a nutshell, folks. So basically, if this is the first you've heard of the return of Survivor (in Thailand, by the way) don't worry about missing the first few episodes, or the entire season for that matter, because you're not missing a whole lot.
