We have a lot to learn about depression, including me. Well written, NJ Meryl.  11:18:45 AM

It's praise your fave senior citizen week, no only does Jordan scores 40 in big win, but also Indy is coming back. <grin>   11:18:47 AM

Dave mentions Jim was laid off the day before his son was born. I am sorry to hear that. I have a sister who found out one year ago on her only nephew's birthday that she has liver cancer. Then, three months after that ON her birthday, she got laid off. Yeah, crappy economy.  8:07:41 AM

Veel üks Radio tutvustus Meryl'ilt "kes ei ole Userlandi palgal"... Ehh :-)

Wow! I'm listed in another language. I believe it's from Estonia based on Webopedia's Country and Domain Extensions list. Cool!

I attempted to get a picture of the first snow here in Texas, but it was not sticking. Instead, I turned it into a Mirror Project.  4:09:47 PM

Robyn, thanks for sharing a marvelous quote from Samuel Clemens that puts my previous post to shame.

“Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual. Yesterday, everybody smoked his last cigar, took his last drink, and swore his last oath. To-day, we are a pious and exemplary community. Thirty days from now, we shall have cast our reformation to the winds and gone to cutting our ancient short comings considerably shorter than ever. We shall also reflect pleasantly upon how we did the same old thing last year about this time. However, go in, community. New Year's is a harmless annual institution, of no particular use to anybody save as a scapegoat for promiscuous drunks, and friendly calls, and humbug resolutions, and we wish you to enjoy it with a looseness suited to the greatness of the occasion. ”

— Mark Twain, Territorial Enterprise, January 1868

New Year resolutions - they're getting old. Why the attitude? Because if you really want to change something you'll start today instead of making it a NY resolution.

I guess my brain is still on holiday mode. It just doesn't want to guide my typing fingers to write something thought-provoking.
