Microsoft has now released a new patch that provides relief from the problems with Outlook Express crashing when pasting in text or when hitting the Enter key several times in succession.  You can obtain the patch either from Windows Update or you can download by clicking on either of the links below:

Users should visit Windows Update to download these patches, but the links above will provide information as to what the patches will do.  The 813489 KB article discusses replacing the mshtml.dll file which has been causing the crashing problem.  The Outlook Express patch replaces many of the dll files in Outlook Express.  Both patches should be installed.
