It looks like Canoe has finally started to put archive-friendly URLs on their columnist's pieces. Let's see if it's still there a week from now. I sent them an email requesting archived columns a while back, and got back a silly response talking about purchasing rights to repubish articles for hundreds of dollars. 3:44:04 PM

This happened in Port Alice, which according to this map is near Port Hardy, very north on Vancouver Island.
He had surgery in Victoria though, which is more than 400 km away. Do they not have a decent hospital up there? 11:27:45 AM
