I'm exploring the possibility of using Radio and Manila in the real estate marketplace. I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer.
1. Can you point me to any URL's of anyone using Radio or Manila in the real estate marketplace?
2. I'm quite good at designing work flow and producing scope of work documents but I'm not proficient scripting Usertalk. Are there experienced scripters available, reasonably priced, and in the Boston, MA area?
3. A large concern is how single images and image galleries are handled by Radio. Can you point me to the URL's of people who use Radio for image display?
Thanks for your help

My friend Maya is a matchmaker. She has an intuition and intellect that can't be beat. Through her web site matchmakermaya.com she offers women a mix of group discussions and personal counseling that brings focus to potential and existing relationships. She's cool.

The music industry's self-inflicted wounds
By Mark Jenkins
In erecting bulwarks around their domains, the major music businesses have left no entrance for the serendipity that kept the pop industry lively (and profitable) for decades. Yet the barbarians at those padlocked gates are the only people who can save the major labels' dwindling empires.

Regarding Al Gore
by Rebecca Knight
One would think that just a glance at what the Bush administration has done to this nation would be enough to give any critical thinking pundit reason to self-examine his or her previously held beliefs about Al Gore. Oh, but no! Wouldn't be prudent, as Poppy Bush likes to say.
What's wrong with this picture? The candidate who tells the truth to the people is branded as a habitual liar and the candidate who lies as easily as he breathes gets a free pass. Not only that, the liar candidate sneaks around in Florida with his brother Jebbie and Katherine (Cruella) Harris manipulating the voting process, the recounts, and the judicial system so that he becomes the leader of the free world. Something is fundamentally wrong in America. Something is so wrong that, as stated in a previous column, this writer will get over it when pigs fly!
What's that you say? How dare such things be said about the pResident of the United Sates? How dare we question the accuracy of the media? We dare ask questions because it is our right and our responsibility in a free society [^] at least for now!
Can we talk? America needs to have a little chat about facts. The facts are rarely presented for public consumption, but they are out there in the wonderland of the Internet. One only has to do a little search to find almost anything. Yet, pundits are apparently computer illiterate or they would not write such stupidity! Sometimes the old quote regarding shinola applies. You know the one! They don't know the difference!
So, here goes, folks! Time for a little truth telling! Take a gander at these items!
iSay - This link leads to a long list of links describing how Al Gore and the Democrats were screwed during the 2000 presidential elections.

Customer Relationship Management is developing a focus toward e-commerce. I have a problem with CRM in terms of e-commerce. I say that not enough effort is being spent getting to know a customer in order to actually have a relationship.
Sales is sales and technology will not change that. At the base level I have something that you want at a price you're willing to pay. End of transaction, end of story, unless there's an additiong dialog, a cordial conversation perhaps. That's when the relationship building starts.
I don't have time to get into this topic as deep as I would like right now so I recommend you read the Cluetrain Manifesto.
I continue to be amazed by shortsighted policy decisions. AC has a story.
Here is a web site dedicated to announcing customer rip-off's.

I just bumped into the question "How do I use Google to search a specific Radio weblog?"
Answer one
It's true that you can set up your own weblog somewhere else (other than radio.weblogs.com) and still use Radio as a client. This will work with any system that supports the Blogger API, including Movable Type. But if all you want is a blogging client, you're better off with Free Software offerings like BlogBuddy.
On BlogSpot and Weblogger, you get an actual subdomain (yourblog.blogspot.com), but in Radio you only get radio.weblogs.com/yourID/. This locks out all third-party services which work by domain, including Google Free Search (to add a search box to your weblog). It also means people can't manually search your site in Google using the "search terms site:yourblog.domain.com" syntax. This is a major design flaw, especially given the lack of any search mechanism in Radio.
Answer two
Same answer, you can't. Unless the site admin sets up a site specific account with Google AND installs a search form on the site.
That's not what I had in mind. I want the "search terms site:yourblog.domain.com" syntax to work. I hope this changes soon.

John Robb suggests a low cost method that pulls discreet information together. It's not about your private personal information but information on subjects that interest you, displayed in the way you choose. John called it a digital dashboard which I think is incorrect. Everytime I read digital dashboard I have a mental picture of an automoble dashboard. It's a disconnect for me and I would venture many other people too. When I see PIM I know it's a class of devices called Personal Information Managers. I suggest that we discard digital dashboard in favor of PIP for Personal Information Portal. Regardless of what it's called I like John's idea.

Looking back at my own career, the one thing that stands out is my unwillingness to give up. I am obsessive about writing, to the point of a true neurosis.
