Neighborhood Protest at the San Jose State Town Gown Forum
About 10 people from student organizations and community members showed up to Caret's forum to protest the development of an 800-space parking lot that will replace Bud Winter Field, located on Tenth and Alma streets, this summer. [Spartan Daily]
The Town Gown Forum was started to help the San Jose State reach out to the surrounding neighborhoods. So it was an interesting place for the University to essentially tell the neighborhoods "we will do whatever we want to".
