Walnut Creek seeks low-cost digs via fees Dogen Hannah reports that Walnut Creek is considering a fee on new commercial development to support affordable housing efforts.
"..."The question becomes, how much should new development be asked to do, as opposed to society as a whole through broader programs?" said Guy Bjerke of the Home Builders Association of Northern California.
