Microsoft's Right to Windows Name May Go Out the Window. Late last week, a preliminary ruling by Chief U.S. District Judge John Coughenour raised the possibility that Microsoft may lose its exclusive right to the name "Windows" because the name is too generic. [osOpinion]  11:25:07 AM
