Seeing if I can move radio with minimal fuss, I now officially have the biggest headache in the world from working with NSTimestamps in WO 5.1 and Openbase. Somewhere between the app and the database, there's some emotional confusion between the concept of EST and GMT. I'm thinking that the openbase plugin adaptor knows better than I do what timezone I want to be in, and is shifting times accordingly. I hope I'm wrong. Fixing bugs. Did some deeper research into Jim Roepcke's WebObjects XML-RPC software. It's based on the Helma XML-RPC, which is now the Apache Jakarta XML-RPC. I'm thinking that the right model for this is to reimplement the old NeXT Distributed Objects metaphor and wrap <i>both</i> XML-RPC and SOAP in a single API, much like the Applescript support for XML-RPC and SOAP. I actually bought this. It's pretty cool.
