William Stratas' Weblog

Sunday, January 20, 2002

My brother, David Stratas, is a big-time litigation lawyer in Toronto. Often he is called to defend people and companies that are in really serious trouble with government authorities.

Today David passed me a whole string of questions after visiting the new Planetcast.com web site:

Q: Why so many pictures of the sun on a site called planetcast?
A: Because the planets orbit the Sun. Without the Sun there is no life. And the images are just plain cool.

Q: Why no weblog on weekends?
A: Not much to comment on, until now, when you wrote me.

Q: When do I make an entrance into the weblog?
A: Right now, buddy!

Q: I like the clock that you mentioned in the weblog.
A: That's why I wrote about it; it's very creative blending of technology and design.

Q: Do not publish "secrets of the secret service", otherwise they will take you away to Camp X-Ray in Cuba.
A: His comment was in reference to my upcoming photo gallery. The USSS already has a file on me, from the 1980 presidential campaign, so I'm not worried; they know I'm one of the good guys.

NOTE: My brother David doesn't have a web presence, and is still thinking about whether this is all a fad.
