finally. back to design!

with the slow-updating NoSimpler category at the center, and the summary of recent posts on the right I'm finally happy with the content frame. now i can tinker with the design!

power of blogs and google

i probably dont have any readers besides the googlebot, but that was enough to get randy's site Ginseng Slices found and indexed by google within a day. that's pretty amazing.

i've just moved his home page into my misc tree and will see what rendering his page once an hour will do to the traffic he's getting from the spider over a few weeks. ... this of course without pinging weblogs.com... makes you think about the commercial abuses of these pings that lie ahead. or dont they?

Hi Ann, here are some pictures from last week... and those from this afternoon :)

breakthrough! nosimpler introduces threaded messages in a radio blog.

yahoo! finally the back link of the most recent items to work! this means this weblog now does threads! and that i can start thinking about what i need to make linking easier yet..

i get the sense that i should modularize the render extensions so that i can reuse some of the elements they produce from the 'recent' pages. being able to title, link and view from there would be good. need a one-click delete and 'edit when' too.

and screenshots. before making screenshots i should give the system pages better titles though..

using script's modification times i think i can automate undoing and storing userland's variation of the three procs i altered. i need to do that to contain the system. before i even think of turning it into a tool - and my tools are still all screwed up.

introducing the symbolic compagnions

NoSimpler archives now integrate a symbol readout [<%symbols%>] to uniquely capture and identify each post in time and space.

This site integrates a daily chart created for my location and birth-time which it presents in symbolic form in the Daily Symbols Category and expanded in its archive.

Much of the daily information accompanies each regular archive page, but all that is just the background to the post-time symbols of the Moon and Ascendant. These accompany each post on the archive page.

The reader is encouraged to consult the symbols accompanying each post to get a sense of the etheric climate of its moment. Sometimes (with femine signs) you will get a perspective on you as a reader, at other times (with male signs) you will get a crisp picture of me. Its an added dimension in any case.

To my knowledge there is no prior art for this type of integration although many people have seen the desirability of this solution for many decades. I am one of them. And I'm putting the notion of this type of cross domain intgration into the public domain. A web-service might follow. interested? help me!

Through this set of pages.. I want to deliver to you a real correlate of the energy driving the words. Which is what energy does. Lets not pretend the words came first, ok?

There's nothing to believe with astrology - which is what's driving this. When you figure it, its just algebra that delivers insights into how the facts relate. So go, get a symbolic perspective on this bLog!
