Carrion Comfort: Salon has an excellent interview with Dan Simmons, a writer I've almost always enjoyed, saying a lot of smart things about modern fiction. I'm looking forward to the new one, though if he produces another stinker like the last one, Darwin's Blade, I'll probably give up on him.
