Eugenio Barba  Sunday, February 2, 2003 Doug Aitken's multipaneled video installation, "Interiors," never had anything to do with scarves, but fabric certainly played a big role in its filming and presentation. During his residency at the workshop, he experimented with several different reflective, transparent and opaque materials stretched around complicated architectural forms. At times he filmed through these twisted shapes, producing surreal images that looked as if they had been shot through keyholes or teardrops.
