Avec l'outil 'MyPictureTool' on peut simplement copier ou déposer une photo dans un répertoire de son choix (sur son appareil) et quelques secondes plus tard, voir cette photo apparaître dans le cadre d'édition de son prochain billet. Mais attention, il faut commencer par la photo car si l'on écrit le texte d'abord, celui-ci sera remplacé par la photo. La mise en ligne de la photo se fait automatiquement.

Une autre manière simple consiste à copier une photo dans le répertoire images du répertoire www de radio. et attendre quelques secondes que le téléversement soit achevé. Lorsque cela est fait, une petite boule (globe terrestre) apparaît à droite du nom de fichier. Un clic dessus et l'image apparaît dans une fenêtre du navigateur. on pointe sur l'image (ou on la saisit en glissant avec sa souris) et on copie (Ctrl+C), puis on verse (Ctrl+V) dans l'espace d'édition. Cette deuxième solution est utile quand on veut ajouter une image à un texte déjà écrit.

I would think that an educational institution could support this.  The graduate class I took that was entirely online (Austrian Economics, if you're curious) could have easily been extended to use something like this; while we spent most of our time in FolioViews annotating the text, lectures, and annotations of other students, we easily could have extended our writing into weblogs.  The conversations we'd have had if we were subscribing to each other's feeds might have been amazing, and considerably more real-time than our trading snippets of text back and forth through the professor (which, to be fair, was quite amazing at the time; I still find myself wanting to get all of my books into a Folio format so that I can do the type of annotating and cross-referencing enabled by the technology).[klyjen.blog][via Thomas N. Interesting comment from a learner's perspective. We have touched the topic of learning journals/portfolios a couple of times. See for example this post from Will Richardson from July 2002. Maybe it is time to write up a use case scenario for Weblog based learning journals...

Exciting news today. A while back, when Will began his The Secret Life of Bees Weblog I thought that something similar could be done within the context of a history class. Two of my classes are beginning a unit on imperialism and the Spanish-American War and I've invited a Ph.D. student at the University of North Carolina who specializes in Cuban and Puerto Rican history to be our online expert. She has graciously accepted and will be participating in our discussions via a soon-to-be-posted project weblog. We will examine primary source documents (including music from the time period) as well as discuss class readings through the blog.

My students are excited about this. I'm hoping this will provide an incentive to attack some interesting but difficult reading. Now, if I could only connect with an historian who specializes in Filipino history I'd really have all the angles covered.

Last year, we used a page of links that played a minor role in my students ability to create meaning out of distant historical events. This has the potential to be much more engaging and interactive. Now, I just have to get the site finished... [Joe Luft]
