So she thinks the background picture of her on my pc at work needs to go. I disagree. I think it is a fantastic picture which captures just enough of her intensity to be enthralling for me and fairly intimidating for any shoulder surfers in my cubicle.

Zero Tolerance for Broken Stuff

Well, I'm less and less tolerant of things that simply don't work. No amount of happy talk, no amount of "but hey, look at this neat doodad!" will ever make up for things, simple things, things that have worked for years, being broken. Ever.

Well, that was the first work out in over 9 months. Boy, it wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. Of course I probably won't really feel it until Thursday, which is the next schedule work out anyway...ah the mind doesn't yet have it's normal supply of fresh blood yet...

Work remains interesting as we redefine our department's role and integrate new services. I am amazed at how long it has take me to "get" the messages in Cluetrain, but I'm getting big payoffs now.

Well, very nice. Jamyelese had decided that it's the best music for a round of stretching and blogging. (stretching for her, blogging for me). I've been listening to hip hop and fringe rock for so long it's very nice to hear something with a real melody. Pulls on the heart-strings in a different way that the Fun Luvin' Criminals or Method Man...

So what am I building next? Well, a family, for starters. Took the 40th trip around the sun this year and everything in the universe is pointing me towards building the foundations of a real, honest to goodness little tribe of my own. I guess I've been waiting for this my whole life. Wow. Very exciting indeed.
