I'm sitting here in my hotel room in DC reading over the official program to Computers In Libraries (CIL), which as you may have already guessed, is a conference & trade show for librarians and information managers.  I'm busy mapping out the various sessions I wish to attend.

Let's see...I'm really a systems guy, so I'll mostly be following that track.  IT planning & practice, knowledge management, secured public access, & virtual catalog technologies.  Other projects I'm currently researching  for work involve digital archiving, wireless public access, and self-service internet for the public, so I'll be watching vendor exhibits for this stuff as well.

I see the Digital Content Managment track does *not* include anything relating to books in digital audio format, at least specifically.  I guess the concept must be too new.  But what a great concept it is...makes so much sense to me.  I think that this will be a hot topic for certain next year, if not at the other events later this year.
