Asimov. catchy acoustic pop/rock fans

All their songs were recorded at home in their livingroom. The music is surprisingly good and definitely worth a listen.

I agree.  This song is a melancholy filled trip into oblivion... i like the organ at the beginning - nice touch.

I'm for sure giving the other 10 songs on their site a listen as well.

The Dears, Orchestral Pop Noir Romantique. artistic, ambient, euro influenced rock music. [Emergent Music]

Sort of like Barenaked Ladies meets David Bowie.  Interesting, but not really my cup of tea.

Hmmm....  I'd say more like Kid Rock or the Beastie Boys, but then most of the sublime that I'm familiar with is very melodic(?) - What I Got, Wrong Way, Santeria, and Doin' Time.

We watched this brilliant piece of camera work last night.  The UMF - (ultimate mind %&#)

IMDB's write up says it all:

"...the viewer feels like a voyeur intruding on something that has nothing to do with them - the way Amy herself probably feels when watching these two men. And the camera is constantly drawing attention to itself to the point where it's actually distracting and even infuriating. If the sight of people talking in previous Linklater films felt inviting, this feels more like an uncomfortable situation you can't get out of."

I'm confident that watching this on a big screen would have amplified that feeling even more.
