I bet the problem is that I had two "returns" one after another in a function. The second one was a mistake and just returned the wrong thing. Could that be the problem?

Hmm. That didn't post to both Radio and REALbasic. I wonder why. Let me try again.

Very very cool. Now I can post to categories. It's really hacky the way I do it. I have an edit field and you have to put the categories in there separated by commas. In the fullness of time I want to have Radio Poster query the server for the categories. But that's for later.

If this works, then it will post to my Radio category and not to my home page.

If this works, then I've hacked together category posting and this post should also be in my Radio category. Fingers crossed.

Sorry for all the tests. I just ripped apart Radio Poster's XML parser and put it back together so that it could handle processing instructions correctly. Processing instructions can occur anywhere and I wanted to properly throw them away, rather than barfing on them. I think my parser is now cleaner, but it was a battle to get it working correctly.

This, unfortunately, is only a test.

One DVD To Rule Them All: which one to get. The 2-disc set appropriate for the kids, or the cooler 4-disc set that's rated "R".

The concept behind the Radio Instant Outliner is lightning-bolt brilliant. My mind is raging with its potential. One bit of potential I think a lot of people might miss, though, is what'll happen to the UserLand team if the feature catches on. [Deadly Bloody Serious]

My problem with Instant Outlining is that I don't usuallly have my Radio running locally. I have it running on my desktop computer at work and I access it remotely. So I can't really try IO out right now. That's why I need some kind of client that is separate from Radio.

The OPML Coffee Mug puzzle is finally solved. Cool. It isn't quite what I thought, but maybe it is. Basically, it is instant outlining. You can subscribe to other people's outlines and when they put something in their outline you get notified and you get their outline in your outline. It's possible to put their entire outline in your outline without causing confusion because it is the nature of outlines to be able to put a lot of information under one heading that can be collapsed. It should be possible to right other instant outline clients. I'll have to see what is involved and maybe I'll give it a go.

By the way, I had though that it was going to be shared outlines and that is kind of what this is. But my idea was that anybody could modified the shared outline and everybody would have a copy. This is a little different but it actually sounds like it might work better. Rather than my modifying your outline, you add my outline to your outline. You have control, rather than me.

Version 4.0 of Power64, a $25 Commodore 64 emulator, now runs on Mac OS X (as well as Classic Mac OS) and introduces many enhancements, including support for OpenGL and improved screen drawing for Macs that do not support OpenGL. [MacInTouch]

I wonder if I can play Ultima I with this. I remember doing that on a friends Commodore 64 and it was a blast.

ChronosNet is giving away its sticky-note "information storehouse" program, StickyBrain, free of charge today and tomorrow. [MacInTouch]

I think I remember playing around with StickyBrain a while back. Hmm. Probably a great while back.
