I woke up about 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. So I spent the time figuring out how to get a referrers list on one of my servers. Turns out it is a litle tricky. I had to make sure that I told Apache to spit out a referer_log file and I had to dig up a script that would parse the file and generate a report. Then I had to remember how to use cron to get the script to run every so often. In other words, I had a blast :)
By the way, the two greatest inventions are the web and UNIX man pages!

Radio Shortcuts
UserLand Software now supports shortcuts in Radio posts. That's pretty cool. I've got something like it in Radio Poster, but I assume all shortcuts are links. That may prove not to be flexible enough. I could assume the local glossary is links and the global glossary isn't. If you want a link in the global glossary you would have to make it one. But I figured that, at least with the local glossary, what people would most want to substitute is links.
