the Colima Volcano in Mexico is about to blow
here's the USGS site and a picture of the pyroclastic flow on Colima back in 1998 -- and a great Album Fotografico that shows the dome bulge over the last 2 weeks
but coolest of all -- here's the live webcam of the Colima Volcano from the University of Colima volcano observatory site
we dig this volcano and geology stuff -- that is, until the rocks start falling on heads and lava and pyroclastic flows bury lives -- then it quickly becomes a big bummer
