The Stanley Cup playoffs are shapping up. The Carolina Hurricanes are in the Eastern conference finals and will play the winner of tonight's game between Toronto and Ottawa, which should be a great game seven. The Red Wings got what they wanted with Colorado beating San Jose last night to force a game seven Thursday night. That means the Wings won't play until Saturday and will be well rested vs a team that will have played a big game seven. Personally I think the Wings have a better chance against Colorado than San Jose. Ironically, I don't think the home team has one a game in that series. A Carolina/Detroit Stanley Cup final would be very interesting since both teams are owned by prominent Detroit area residents.
