Saturday

I went shopping with S + K + M. Got a pair of pants $10 and some nail polish $1.50 and some orange drops and lunch. I'm so tired that I'm not really going to say anything but that I listened to Brahms's Symphony #1 with SU and her friends, one of which was the guy whose energy I like so much conducting the Handel in the wind orchestra during the first GYBSO rehearsal. Looking back at that entry I could see that I did mention him. I forgot to meditate a second time. I really have to piss, but I'm debating if it's worth the trouble getting out of my warm bed at 1 o'clock to take a piss. I think maybe I should, if only to avoid waking up tomorrow morning only for that reason. I started reading Women in Love, I like his style (D.H. Lawrence). I've also read The Gypsy and the Virgin and Lady Chatterly's Lover. I don't know, at least Women in Love seems to be a bit more from the man's point of view. I think that's good. How could he ever pretend how women feel, unless either Lawrence was a pseudonym, or he had a very vocal and expressive mistress. (I don't know why that seems so totally unlikely.) He had a very strong perception in his own mind of what women "really" are, and wrote to fit that. Being a good observer, he was quite close at times, at others I feel he failed completely. It is the effort that makes it all unique. EXHAUSTED!!! GOOD NIGHT, I MUST USE THE TOILET OR MY BLADDER WILL SHATTER (a thrilling prospect).
