Nick says: Here are some collections of metaflowers. The images in this gallery were created by an interactive process of evolution. It's just like breeding new kinds of flowers or tropical fish, except much faster. The pictures are drawn by software programs called cyborganic agents. I pick the agents whose pictures I like, then cross-breed them to make new ones whose drawings may show features of both parents. There are also random mutations. I can never predict what new variants will show up, but because I throw out all the boring ones they just keep getting better and better. If you like any of the pictures you find here, send me an email including the picture's 12-digit file number and I will email you a full size jpeg of that picture. The largest versions often show delicious details not visible in the web-scaled images. Most of them are more than 1,000 pixels wide or tall.
If you enjoy the images, I invite you to send a donation. Thank you for your generous support!
