last night i was walking around a party with Bono and a bunch of other people. After a bit, it was just me and Bono walking down a hall. He had very long straight hair, his Pop-style luisure suit, and dark sunglasses.
We turn a corner into a small bar, and saddle up to the barkeep. I order some drinks, and notice that a U2 song is playing over the sound system. I turn to Bono and ask him "What's it like to hear your songs everywhere?" He turns to me with a knowing look above his sunglasses, and says, "Yeah, it's a trip, everyone knows your name."
At this point, I felt like I'd connected with him and we talked a bit as friends do.
