What a stroke of good fortune. Earlier today I was contacted, via email by one "Laurent Mpeti Kabila (Jnr) the second son of Late President LAURENT DESIRE KABILA the immediate Past president of the DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO". He had this to say about me:
I stumbled into your contact by stroke of luck after a long search for an honest and trust worthy person who could handle issue with high confidentiality.

More importantly, he has urgent need of the use of my bank account.

I have the privilege of being mandated by my father,s colleagues to seek your immediate and urgent co-operation to receive into your bank account the sum of US $25m. (twenty-five million Dollars) and some thousands carats of Diamond. This money and treasures was lodged in a vault with a security firm in Europe and South-Africa [sic].

All I have to do is reply by email!

If this proposal is acceptable to you, kindly provide me with your personal telephone and fax through my E-mail box for immediate commencement of the transaction. I count on your honour to keep my secret, SECRET.

There is much more (like my 5.5% cut), but I have been asked to keep it all very secret. Expect to see major changes in my weblog based on my newfound good fortune. Gee, I hope this isn't terrorist money or anything. That whole Kabila episode sounded pretty bloody.

Apparently Mark does not realize how raucously popular his Kit is! I think this is a great tool. I use it all the time. Well, maybe a lot of the time. I especially like the tool for searching posts. I even keep kit on Radio's Editors Only menu.

Raucous acclaim for Kit.

Huh, so Kit is "popular" now:

Mark Paschal released Kit 1.0.1, a popular set of interfaces and utilities for Radio 8.

In a thread on the Radio DG KD encouraged me to update Enabling Category-Specific Stories. Based on KD's feedback I made a revision to the story to avoid further confusion for Radio authors working on the Mac platform.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed gratitude for this article when trying to establish category-specific stories of their own. Now I need to get to work on enabling shortcuts for these stories!

David Carter-Tod has done a great job running the Frontier Docserver over the years. It looks like the Docserver site has been moved and given a makeover. Nice look David! There is a wealth of great documentation there - a must have for any Radio developer.

This article will show you how I get the most mileage out of my CSS using a bit of Radio magic. That being said, don't look to my website as a shining example of CSS usage. I just learned the absolute minimum required so my site would not look too horrible and then decided that content was more important than form.

This is a short, easy to read, and interesting article. I haven't tried this out yet, but hope to when time permits, priorities allow, and desires drive me to it! [Via Scripting News]
