By default the new RadioPoint tool puts slides in a "slides" directory right under the root for your website. There are some slides I really don't want to make public - like stuff that is for internal use only, while there are others I do want public. I have always used the category feature to enforce this separation. I would like to do the same for slides now. Hopefully I can follow the same approach as I did for Enabling Category-Specific Stories .

I saw a strange entry in my referer log today. Strange entries stand out when your referer log is really small - mostly people stumbling through Google. At any rate I followed the link back and found - a sales site! No link to my site, just somebody trying to sell widgets. I wonder if this guy is programmatically pinging weblogs.com in an attempt to lure traffic back into his own site? Anybody else noticed this?

I tried out the new RadioPoint slide presentation tool late this afternoon. It is very cool. I used Paolo's slide template for my first presentation (warning: corporate boring stuff). There may be some odd errors in Paolo's template. Nothing serious, but there is a message in the IE5.5 status bar stating "Error on page". I didn't notice anything odd about the template itself so I am not going to worry.

It also appears that Paolo is plugging his website a bit by sneaking a web bug into the template. Every time somebody views a slide built with his template, his blog gets credited with a hit. This may be a typo on his part. I am sure he meant to substitute my usernum!
