Is there anybody that can sing the National Anthem like Wayne Messmer? No way. Maybe I am prejudiced. I have listened to Wayne sing the anthem before Chicago Blackhawk games at the old Chicago Stadium (events that seismologists surely recorded and attributed to movement in the Madrid fault line), before Chicago Cubs games at Wrigley Field, before Chicago Wolves games at the Allstate Arena, and elsewhere around Chicagoland. Each performance is a memorable experience. Listening to Wayne is a little like watching Michael Jordan used to be. It is so hard to appreciate the talent each man has until they are no longer present. 2:25:23 PM
