John Robb: "Dear sir, it seems we have misplaced an oil tanker. ;->". How the heck do you lose an oil tanker?

Doc Searls: "It's nice to have an excuse to oggle this kind of stuff, and take a break from the usual tech & political stuff, which has, lets face it, the erotic power of sheetrock."

Geek dinner with Scoble? ... maybe, he's going to be in Montreal Saturday night, and that's only an hour and a half drive from Sherbrooke!

Jeffrey Veen: "Apparently locking in customer data through closed APIs and obscure file formats has become an appropriate business model. That's too bad. Just think what we could do just by sharing." Amen.

Thanks to Lawrence for the pointer.

Slashdot: "Grab some caffeine and get hacking!" The Google Code Jam 2004 is now open for registration!

Too bad they don't accept submissions in anything other than the 4 authorized languages (Java, C#, VB & C++), it would have been really cool to submit a solution in Usertalk. I will probably sign up just to see what the qualification problems look like.
