Team Canada wins over Finland 3 to 2 in the final game of the world cup!

It was pretty good game, the Fins played extemely well but in the end the offensive power of the Canadian team was just to much.

Two good posts on the current mess in Iraq today.

The first is from "John Robb"'s Global Guerillas it describes the success of a recent pipeline attack in triggering a cascade failure. This is a big deal, one attack was able to shut down power to most of the country.

The second is from "Scripting News" where Dave attempts to answer the question: What does Osama Bin Laden want? The most important bit of the post is the last line:
