the power of 0ne

The only session that is an absolute must for me so far is Adam Curry's Podcasting the universe.

Oddly enough I think this is related to my previous post on Scaled Composite winning the X-Prize. In some ways I think podcasting may be as historic as the privatization of Space. In fact the more I think about it the more I see parallels. Podcasting and private space travel aren't about doing something new, people have been doing both for decades. It's about allowing a whole different class of people to participate in the process. And that is precisely what makes both so cool.

The fact that anyone with a net connection, a microphone and the desire to do so can have his own Radio show is more than just awesome it's historic, and the results are awesome too...

Woohoo! Just got the confirmation, I'm going to be at BloggerCon III!

A big thanks to everyone who made it possible for me to go... you know who you are ;)

Looks like it's official: Scaled Composites has won the Ansari X-Prize!.

Wow! Just watching SpaceshipOne coming down from it's flight to over 368,000 feet. Looks like the flight was perfect, they should be coming in for the landing in about 15 minutes.

This is really historic stuff, in 50 years no one will remember who was president in 2004. But just like the spirit of saint-louis everyone will remember that Michael Melvil and Brian Binnie started a new era in space exploration. Awesome stuff!

Woohoo! SpacheshipOne is on the ground, beautiful landing!
