What took 'em so damned long? Ya know, those are good prices. Indeed, I can definitely see this is a push into the web server market. What OS runs Apache the best? Where are a lot of web designers still living? That's right. It's a homecoming for some. Geez! Check out the specs on those boxes. Of course, Apple still has to make them sleek. Granted, so does Sun. Additionally, it seems that the monitoring tools ease-of-use could be key to getting some quick buys from certain organizations. I can definitely see small shops take up a small investment in this hardware providing they can keep up a record of reliability and good support. I have had good support from Apple the past with their hardware and software. But, we're talking the big time now. Enterprise level. That's a whole different ball game. Seconds matter when you are talking production.

Apparently they never stepped foot in several Men's restrooms, because I tell you Men's restrooms (unfortunately) are definitely nastier than my keyboard. I'll keep my personal bacteria thank you. :-)

That's pretty amazing. I didn't know there were 4000 McDonald's in Japan? Wow. How many are there worldwide? Geez. So, no mention of the cost of using the McDonald's wi-fi. I hear the Starbucks net is not free. hmph. Figures. Why don't we band together with the non-chain (or psuedo-chain) used bookstores and coax them into setting up wi-fi and a local coffee brand? I think it would be awesome if Half Price Books and Little City could broker a deal. That combination would revive the true slacker in me.
