Drexel iPod Video Press Release. Drexel’s School of Education today released more information about their plans for the iPod video players being distributed to 33 graduate students. A press release is available on the school’s news page under news for October 17, 2005. Here is a quick excerpt.
[…]the iPods will be used to add several new dimensions to the online program as a way of bringing the “campusâ€� atmosphere to the students. The Higher Education program plans to unveil this quarter an iPod Higher Education Lecture Series and the creation of the online “Research Consortiumâ€�,â€� “Student Information Exchange Loungeâ€�, “Green Room,â€� and “iPod Higher Education Career Resource Centerâ€� where students can upload/download audio and video interviews, showcase their assignments/research, share resources, post e-portfolios created with the iPod, and access the program’s online student research journal.
