> TEKKA: What's the big deal?

Rob and Scott are writing about how great TEKKA is. So it's a new Web magazine "about enjoying new media and creating beautiful software." What exactly does that mean? The TEKKA website certainly doesn't answer it to my satisfaction. Just one or two paragraphs each from a dozen stories with the promise that for $50/year I'll be head over heels in love with the future content. Could there please just be a little more content up for those of us not in the inner circle? I'll admit phrases like "You want to know what to build, not what to buy. And, most of all, you want to know what makes software beautiful" are piquing my curiosity, but so far the only thing keeping me interested is Aaron Swartz's upcoming 'Small is Beautiful' serialization. Would anyone care to clue me in please?

> Hmm, need to check out Earphoria

A new app called Earphoria allows you to share your iTunes library over Rendezvous. It automatically discovers all the Earphoria users on your network and allows you to stream their MP3 collections.

> NetNewsWire script: Subscribing to a site from within Safari

Brent does it again. He posts a little two-line script that lets you subscribe in NetNewsWire to the frontmost window in Safari.

Gotta see if I change that for use with Mozilla and Chimera. Yes, I still can't decide. Anyway, thanks to [AppleScript Info]

Need to check this one out and see if it can be adapted for GLterm. PS, I also need to see if this post hopefully doesn't make it to the homepage, I just wanted it on the TIDCORA page. [Mac OS X Hints]
