Business trust.

Can one trust in a business environment? That's an important question I've been struggling with. I helped start a company a few years ago with a man who destroyed all of my belief in trust in the workplace. Without going into detail, let's just say the man used a lie as a business tool. I left there vowing to bring a business moral code back into my life, and have examined those who I do business with respect to this benchmark, attempting to guide myself into business relationships incorporating a Christian ethic of trust. This has generally worked whereever lawyers aren't involved, but in every single instance where a lawyer has input into my business relationships, the element of trust is absent. I'm wondering just what this says about law, and where it fits into the makeup of a Christian businessman. Hmmm...
