Does Size Matter? 

First question: When a chapter gets above a certain size, such as 600 members, should it consider partition?  In Silicon Valley, we have enough trouble finding candidates for the offices we have -- how could we hope to find twice or three times that many candidates for the chapters resulting from a subdivision?

Gotta Begin Somewhere

Well, let's get this show on the road.  I am creating this web log primarily to talk about matters of the Society for Technical Communcation -- the STC. As with most web logs, it's an opinion site, with no official standing.  It represents no official policy of any part of the STC.
