GARRINGREEN HOTSPOT -- The best news for Irish Internet users in 2003 is that high-speed broadband service is available in most parts of the Republic, now that Eircom and EsatBT both offer DSL connectivity. Rural dwellers won't be able to avail of the services.

GARRINGREEN HOTSPOT -- One of Dublin's most lucrative bus routes, the 46A, will face competition from Aircoach's newly launched route from Leopardstown to Dublin Airport. The coaches have leather seating, air conditioning, DVD screens and mobile hotspots to allow passengers to receive e-mails on the move.
