ipaq 3800 Linux

I upgraded to the hh11 kernel. This is supposed to support mmc. That will be fun. 128MB of solid state mp3s could keep my ears going for a while.
Now the power light is on whenever it's in the cradle. The light even blinks a couple of times if the ipaq's off... as if it were charging. But then the blinking stops and it doesn't charge.
In fairness, I'm just glad it works at all.
During the upgrade, I got the following error message repeatedly:

I fantasize that if I ever figure out how to fix this, lots of things will start to work. The keyboard, for instance. Sigh. I tried again on the keyboard last night, but no dice.
