Internet Enabled Disk Image scripts
These OS X scripts, when run via Ranchero's Big Cat contextual script menu, will set the 'internet enable' flag of selected disk image (.dmg) files to yes or no. Droplets which perform the same tasks are also included. Warning: I've received a report that these scripts will corrupt disk images with apostrophes in the name. The issue is currently under investigation but I suspect that the use of "quoted form of posix path" is at the heart of the problem. Update: I can't reproduce the bug but caution should be exercised nonetheless.

NetNewsWire via Bluetooth
Someone has asked for a script that would allow them to simulate pressing the down arrow or space bar in NetNewsWire so that they could read through the feeds via a Bluetooth capable phone using Clicker. I don't have an enabled phone to test with but this script appears to do the job. If someone who has all of the necessary elements would like to test it, I'd appreciate feedback. It requires GUI Scripting beta.

Pet Peeve: Price check on lane 4 please
When you are shopping for groceries, do you want to go all the way to the checkout lane to learn the price of each item so that you can decide whether or not to place it in your cart? I don't think so! The price should be prominently displayed with the product.
If you are using a web site to promote your ware, please consider the inclusion of the price on the product's main web page. If I know up front that something is not within my budget, there's no point in wasting my time, and your bandwidth, by wading through several pages of product info. Forcing me to use the "Buy" button to discover the price only serves to irritate me, drive me away, and clutter my browser's cookie file. Making it easy for potential customers to make an informed decision might just encourage them to explore all that you have to offer and/or come back later when they can afford to make the register ring.

In a message to the applescript-users mailing list, Chris Nebel, of the AppleScript Engineering team, offers this clarification:
There is no difference between "Compiled Script" and "compiled script". The idea that one does resource-fork and one does data-fork is a myth, which I think got started as a random guess from someone trying to explain why the heck there were two items in the first place. He also states that this bug has been fixed in Script Editor 2.
In fact, Script Editor 1.9 saves all new scripts as data-fork; existing scripts are saved as whatever they were. (I.e., open a resource-fork script, save it; it's still a resource-fork script.) Prior to 1.9, all scripts are saved as resource-fork.
