Ins and outs of WishlistsI saw a post on wishlists and why you should add one to your blog. Being the type of person who doesn't mind getting gifts from others (and already having a wishlist created on Amazon.com) I thought I'd add mine to my blog (which I've done). However, while perusing a friend's wishlist I found one thing about how Amazon.com runs their wishlists that I don't like. People can only buy you exactly what you put on your wishlist. So, if you want a copy of The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell and you put the $17 hardback version, then I can only buy you the hardback version. I can't buy you a $10 paperback and I can't buy you a $12 hardback or $8 paperback used copy. Well, maybe some folks would consider buying a used copy to be tacky, but hey a gifts a gift.

Boy Meets GirlJosh was single when he wrote "Kiss Dating Goodbye" , the followup book tells the story of him meeting his wife-to-be and their courtship. Also good stuff.

Courting we will go, a courting we will go...This article on Kuro5hin is great. Karen and I have read Josh's book, "Kiss Dating Goodbye" and so have our 15 & 16 year-old boys. We've encouraged them to utilize this approach to relationship. Dating as it is practiced in America is for the birds. A one way road to lots of pain, where we learn to treat each other as emotional/sexual play things. Let's treat each other with more respect and take relationships more seriously.

Deap Throat exposed, notJust bought John Dean's new Unmasking Deep Throat ebook. It is in PDF format, which is cool, because I can print it out and read it like a real book (I can also loan it to my friends). Wish it was also in MS Reader format so I could read it on my Pocket PC. BTW, according to ZDnet, it doesn't actually unmask deep throat, just reduces the likely suspects.
