About Myself and this place
My name is Ryan Greene. I've worked for several large companies over the course of my carreer , and I've learned a heck of a lot at each of them. Mostly I've learned that companies must clearly state the goals of their departments, their employees roles in said goals, and the rewards (or punishments) that go along with the results they achieve. Failure to do so leads to a company that is rowing in circles, never making it to their destination. Further, they must analyze the results of their attempts to see what worked and what did not. This leads to process improvement. Success in these endeavors makes everyone profit in the long run.
I've done just about everything over the course of my carreer, from sales (wholsesale office furniture to real estate) to grunt work (landscaping, warehousing, delivery and installation) to computers (web design, training, and furniture layout) to teaching (Women's self defense, Martial Arts, Sports Skills and Gymnastics.) As a result, I can not only see things from the layperson's perspective, I can explain things to them as well.
I maintain this Blog as a means of keeping up with the latest developments in science, technology, and politics. These are subjects that have interested me for years, I simply have not had the tools and time to devote to keeping a log of said interests. Now, courtesy of Radio, I have that luxury. This serves as a searchable way for me to keep track of what I thought, when, and how my opinion has either changed or solidified.
I hope to inform, entertain, and learn a little something along the way with this site. If I can do only two, fantastic. I also hope to use this as a means of finding employment, so any advice form Bloggers who have managed to do so is more than welcome.
