The idea for this came from my time spent on the Yahoo Message Boards. I came to the conclusion that, in many cases, the people on the board could, if given the chance, run the company better than the present management. This is an attempt to give people that chance and to benefit from their knowledge.
The first focus will be in evaluating the possibility of a private equity investment in Userland. The design of the corporation, however, enables it to focus on any business opportunity.
