Q. Why are certain options on my menu grayed out or unavailable?
A. FrontPage now provides the ability to create cross-browser compatible web sites. In order to do this, you can set the Compatibility options for the browser and version you are designing for. If a browser (ex. Netscape) doesn't support a particular feature, such as background sound, marquees etc, then that option will be grayed-out. To fix this:

Choose Tools, Page Options.

Click on the Compatibility Tab.

Set the Browsers, Browser Versions and Servers to Custom.

Put a check mark in all the boxes.
