How to Feed the World (Christian Science Monitor)
How to Feed the World (Christian Science Monitor)
Organic farming or bioengineered foods? Industrial food production or an ecologically benign approach to food production? Despite the amazing success of modern agriculture in feeding an ever-expanding population base, the current system may not be able to repeat it's past success in the coming population boom, during which we will see a nearly 50 percent increase in the world's population before we level off at around 9 billion people in 2050. Film Threat
Film Threat
I was a devoted reader of Film Threat magazine. It's nice to see that their website carries on the Film Threat tradition of film without boundaries. It's all here: mainstream, foreign, independent and internet film news, comments and criticism. Yeah, the box office stats are here, but so are film festival films, DVD reviews, and fringe filmmakers previewed, reviewed and interviewed. So if you like all kinds of movies, add Film Threat to you list of destinations....

Comixpedia
Comixpedia
Comixpedia is a site dedicated to discussing webcomics. They will be launching a directory of webcomics in late spring, but for right now there is a directory of directories of webcomics! Happy hunting! Thanx to metafilter for the link. PS: I really like electric sheep. (it's an online comic, not a lifestyle choice)
