I appologize for a long period of inactivity. The reason for my lazines is that I had some problems with my XBOX. The console just turned itself of after some period of time and I coudn't get it running. I took the console to an electronic repair shop, but since it passed more than a month it think they will not be able to fix it :(
I'm tired of waiting and just ordered a new one. Since I have 15 US games I don't have any other option but to the an US console again, even tough I'm from Europe.
The console has been ordered and I should have it in a week!!
I'm also preparing a brand new web site for all XBOX soccer fans in the meantime. This won't be a weblog but a real dynamic site with new, tips and tricks, article, reviews and a forum.
I would appreciate if you could e-mail me your wishes and ideas about the new site. Even if you don't have any suggestions get in contact with me. I want see how many people are interested in XBOX soccer web site. The more people will respond the sooner we'll get new site!

David Beckham Soccer DELAYED!!! David Beckham Soccer for XBOX has been delayed yet again. If you still believe them the game should be out on August 16, 2002.
RedCard 20-03 soccer released Midway has just released RedCard 20-03 soccer for XBOX. You can get the official press release here. You should be able to orded this game at your favorite reseller, like ebgames.com and amazon.com.

Scanned manual for EPSN MLS ExtraTime 2002 Since you can't download the manual for ESPN MLS ExtraTime 2002 from Konami web site, I decided to scan it. I hope Konami will change their mind and provide the manual in the PDF format. Scanned images just aren't good enough. You can get scanned manual here.
According to ebgames.com we can expect another soccer game this fall, called Sega Soccer Slam. Ebgames.com lists 09/01/2002 as the release date. The official game site is still in the works. Here is the official press release.

According to amazon.com the new release date for David Beckham Soccer is now JULY 22, 2002. The list price for the XBOX version of the game is now $39.99. The price for RedCard soccer is also $39.99.

According to ebgames.com the release date of David Beckham Soccer has been pushed back to July 17, 2002. The released date of RedCard Soccer 20-03 is listed as June 25. We'll see.

It appears that the release of RedCard Soccer 20-03 has been push back again. According to amazon.com the new release date is now June 28, 2002.
Here is a list of players and their stats for some countries in ESPN MLS ExtraTime 2002.
As you can see the list is incomplete. I would be greatful if you could write down the stats for your favorite teams and sent it to me so I can add them to the list. There are 100 teams and if I have to do it myself it will take a lot of time. My e-mail is andrej@budja.com. Thanks!

XBOX and soccer fans will notice that I forgot to mention one XBOX soccer game - International Superstars Soccer 2 from Konami. Many fans will also notice that they cannot get ESPN MLS Extra Time 2002.
This is because ESPN MLS Extra Time 2002 is only available in the US and the ISS 2 only in the Europe. Even if you buy ISS 2 and import it to US you will not be able to play it, because XBOX is region locked. This means you cannot play US games on EU console and EU games on US console. If you ask me, this sux.
