that Steve has returned and is prepared to continue to share his

"MIT's OpenCourseWare:
a free and open
educational resource for faculty, students, and self-learners around
the world. OCW supports MIT's mission to advance knowledge and
education, and serve the world in the 21st century. It is true to MIT's
values of excellence, innovation, and leadership.
MIT OCW:
- Is a publication of MIT course materials
- Does not require any registration
- Is not a degree-granting or certificate-granting activity
- Does not provide access to MIT faculty"
Having had a peek at the Problem Solving materials, I am impressed
by their choices, and somewhat depressed about the pdf format. When
will the web be readied for Maths?

Marc Barrot, Precision IT Management, Inc., has initiated a testing phase of activeRenderer vs2 just before Christmas.
Among other things, activeRenderer sets out to be an outline publishing
tool as well as an outline browser for Radio Userland, dealing with RSS
feeds and OPML files, and providing a "GUBI" (Graphical User Browser
Interface).

Attempting to get a handle on Outline Renderers , I once again turned in my hours of need to the Radio Userland's Discussion Group . And previous experiences were confirmed. Knowledge and expertise are being freely and promptly shared and exchanged.
Thanks again to the Radio Userland Community. Long may it last.

I have just received an email from Strathclyde University Bookshop, my
favourite local bookseller, informing me that my order from June, of
Rogers Cadenhead's long awaited RUL Kick Start, has finally arrived. A quick spin on the bike after work today may well secure the eagerly awaited read for the weekend.
What I have gleaned from Rogers Cadenhead's sample chapters, as well as
from his prompt and generous scripting advise to one of my pupils,
leads me to recommend that RadioUserland users may both benefit
themselves as well as Rogers by buying his book.
