The Hot Tub

Man, am I lucky - we have an outdoor hot tub. A hot tub has to be one of the great restoratives of all time. I use it every night before I go to bed. I have discovered that if I soak with the jets on for thirty or more minutes at night, my muscles are unbelievably warm, open, and relaxed the next day. All that nasty soreness and tightness is gone. If you can't afford a hot tub, I strongly recommend hot baths.

In Alaska, it does not get dark in the summer. But now it's beginning to get dusky at around 11:30 PM. I love sitting in the tub late at night as the dusk settles in.

The view from our hot tub.
