Last Friday night Eitan invited three of his best buddies for an early birthday celebration. We started the evening with pizza, then went to see Star Wars Episode 2. After the movie we came back home for ice cream cake and a sleep over. Eitan didn't get much sleep, but had lots of fun. On Sunday, Eitan and three other MJDS students played in a guitar ensemble at a local coffee house. They did a great job, and his portion of the tips they earned was $20.85!

May 14-16, Jacob, Yael, Aviya, Asher and Kay went to Cleveland to visit our relatives there. It was so much fun seeing everyone! Here are some pictures from our trip. Yael also took pictures, so check out their weblog (button on the left) - I don't think they've posted theirs yet, but keep checking.

It was in the high 80's today and Yael, Nat, Aviya, and Asher went for a long walk. I happened to be grocery shopping at the time, and they noticed my car in the parking lot, so Yael called me on my cell phone to ask if I'd like Avi for a while. Of course I said "Yes!", so Avi "helped" me finish my shopping ("Avi hold it kiwi" "Avi hold it tomato" "Avi want it candy", etc.) Then she came and played at our house until Yael, Nat, and Asher joined us for dinner. A great day with incredible weather! This picture of Asher was taken today, at 4 days old!

Asher is 2 days old now and has lost most of the bruising and swelling he had from his birth. He seems to change every time I look at him, which is as often as I can. Today I took Aviya to her Gymboree class while Asher went back to the hospital for his newborn hearing test (he passed) and blood work. We had lots of fun! Here are 2 pictures from Gymboree, and then a few new ones of Asher.

Hi all. I recently went to Cleveland for a last-minute quick visit to see my Dad. He is doing well and we had a nice time together. Unfortunately, both my brothers were out-of-town on business so I didn't get to see them on this trip. I stayed with my niece Noa, her husband Doron and baby Ayla. I really enjoyed all that great baby time! Plus visits to my adorable great-niece Natalie and my newest great-nephew Tyler. Lots of fun!
Jacob was able to go to the Final Four and Championship game in Atlanta earlier this week to cheer on (but not to victory) his Hoosisers. He said it was an incredible experience, and we're really happy he was able to go. Today is his 20th birthday. Hard to believe he's no longer a teenager. In fact, we'll have almost 2 years without a teenager in the house. Does that mean we can take it easy?
All else here is status quo. Yael continues to feel pretty good, although the nights are getting a little harder. Check out the link to her web page, and we'll both be putting up baby pictures, hopefully real soon!
Below are some pictures from my Cleveland trip. ENJOY!
