Long arcade- bustling- felt bigger than Hiroshima (Tony and Guy)

Onsen- 11th floor

As hot in as out     


Tateno- sun setting behind hills- pleasant coolness- onset of autumn

Sudden dusk- between sitting in Hakusui and getting back to Tateno     


Hakusui kogen Nothing there Killed hour Bucolic- rolling fields

Skipped onsen- back to Kumamoto     


Onsen in station

Walked to Shirakawa gensui/suigen? Walked back     


Back to station- local train to Tateno via Higo-ozu.

Torokko ressha to Aso-Shirakawa     


Suizenji Wrong tram stop Walked for miles- hidden

Interesting- shrine inside garden     


Heat

Castle Take picture twice     


Ariake to Kumamoto     

Ferry to Kure, Kure line

Shinkansen to Hakata- Nozomi 500- 300 km/h- just over an hour
