Gandolfini wanted a mil per ep, and when he didn't get it, sued to leave. HBO countersued, asking for a hundred mil. A hundred mil! Didn’t Gandolfini, playing a mob boss, learn, at least by osmosis, not to bring a knife to a gunfight?

Little, Big should be higher, much higher. So should Left Hand of Darkness. Zelazny should be better represented, and higher. Foundation Trilogy ought to be lower. Harlan Ellison, slightly higher. Niven, much higher. Sturgeon, much higher. Brooks, much lower. Um, Rice, lower.
