Life with a Pug

Day 3

Honeymoon - Day Three

Date: January 13, 2002
Place: Cruise Ship -> Nassau, Bahamas

So, emily wakes up really early and convices me to go watch the sunrise.  We catch the early bird breakfast then settle onto some chairs to watch the sun come up over the water.  Quite beautiful and romantic!

We go back to the room to change and get ready for our time in Nassau.  Then, we disembark the ship and get with our tour group.  We decided to do the Yellowbird boat tour which was a half-hour boat ride, an hour on a beach, then a half-hour boat ride back.  It was so nice to felt the warm ocean air and to see the beautiful clear blue waters.  emily and I snuggle on the deck enjoying the trip.  Once at the beach, we claimed our beach chairs and then hit the water.  We suntanned for about an hour and then re-boarded the Yellowbird for the ride home.

Once we docked, emily and I hit the Straw Market and wandered the tourist-shop filled streets on our way back from the boat.  Since it was a short time at Nassau, we didn't get to do any real exploring or sightseeing - just the boat tour.  But it was really nice all the same.

Back on the boat, we relaxed and tooled around til dinner.  At dinner, two more people joined us: Linda and Sandra, sisters from Seattle, WA and Oregon.  Both were nice and sociable - a nice addition to the group.

After dinner, emily and I hit that evening's show - a music/dance extravaganza.  It was silly and fun, but entertaining.  I had a drink and got buzzed and silly, and was quite entertaining to emily!

We went back to the room and had a snack and went to bed.  Good day, good day!
